Straight Flush Entertainment, LLC. is a locally owned company that understands the needs of our Host Locations and keeps those needs in the forefront of our operations while providing a quality experience for our players that keeps them playing night after night.
Our mission is simple: To provide an avenue for our Host Locations to receive a positive return on their investment by supplying the best poker experience for our players through consistency, communication, knowledge, and attainable prize packages.
Players choose a league experience for two reasons: prizes and points. Host Locations provide nightly cash and/or gift certificates to the top two or three finishers. Points are earned by finishing in approximately the top 30% of the tournament and are accumulated at each venue over the course of a session, usually three to four months. The top 20% of point earners over the session, from each nightly event, receive entry to the Regional Semi-Finals. The top 10 players from each Regional Semi-Final receive entry to the State Finals, held twice a year.
What sets Straight Flush apart from other leagues? We operate the most professional poker tournaments in the Twin Cities. Our players are looking for the highest quality games to play and choose our league. We run a longer, single tournament, as well as consolation tournaments for points. We focus on giving away desirable prize packages while keeping our sessions short. All in all, we see very high attendance at each Host Location which leads to more customers coming through your doors and supporting your establishment.
The majority of our players know and respect the game and understand that bar poker is not free poker. They understand that in order to keep the game going, the Host Location must be supported by the poker players. We provide our players with incentives for supporting the establishment without breaking any gaming laws. We also partner with our Host Locations to assist them in generating spending and advertising their establishment through quarterly specialty tournaments, social media outlets, as well as our website. We even go so far as to assist Host Locations to create Poker Player specials to drive sales.
Our Tournament Directors complete a training program where they are not only required to learn how to properly run a tournament, but also how to encourage our players to support the establishment. Nightly announcements are made before the tournament to alert players of any nightly specials, who the server or bartender is on duty, and to inform them of any promotions currently being offered, such as bonus chips for arriving to the Host Location early.
Lastly, with Straight Flush running your poker tournament, there are no headaches. We take care of the equipment, staffing (or training if you prefer to run the tournament in-house), most of the advertising, and session prizes. The Host Location is only responsible for providing small nightly prizes for players, the Tournament Director fee, and storage space for equipment.
All of these efforts translate to a much better return on your entertainment investment.
